Northwest High School is located in Fort Worth, Texas (USA), near Justin.[1]. It is a part of Northwest Independent School District.

The school is located off Texas State Highway 114 and Texas Farm to Market Road 156, about 3 miles west of the Texas Motor Speedway, and 2 miles north of Fort Worth Alliance Airport.

It is one of only 4 schools in the nation to feature an indoor coffee shop (Byron Nelson High School, the district's other high school, is one of the remaining three). Northwest was named a 2001-02 National Blue Ribbon School.[2] It also has both a Subway and Pizza Hut in the cafeteria. Students can choose their course among 60 subjects. Also Northwest Highschool has AP course, Pre AP course, and Normal Class. All of the students at the high school received Dell Latitude 2100 netbooks in the 2009-2010 school year.

The middle schools that feed into NHS are Gene Pike Middle School and Chisolm Trail Middle School.

In the 2008-2009 school year, Northwest High school had approximately 3,100 students, and around 200 faculty members making it a 5A high school. With realignment in 2010 and the opening of Byron Nelson High School, enrollment dropped significantly, however it remains a 5A School.
